 == Quilt Tapestry == Please design a large quilt tapestry freely with the contest theme in mind. Quilt Size: Each side (length and width) must not exceed 200cm(79 inches). == Message Quilt == The theme of the 2005 World Exposition Aichi, Japan is ''Nature's Wisdom'', and one of its objectives is to create an environment-friendly society. Please express your message of an environment and a bright society with reference to the 2005 World Exposition Aichi, Japan. Quilt Size: length 50 cm (20 inches) x width 50 cm (20 inches) == Around the World with Quilt == Please illustrate memorable scenes of natural surroundings and towns around the world or sceneries and towns in your memory, with the contest theme in mind. Entries may be individual works or group works. Quilt Size: length 150 cm(59 inches) x width 150 cm(59 inches) == Colors of Living == This category includes quilted wears, hats, interiors, and dolls that add fun and color to people's lifestyles. Entries must be appropriate to the contest theme, and environmental concerns and reforms should be taken into account. Quilt Size: Each side (Length and width) must be a minimum of 20cm(8 inches) and a maximum of 150cm (59 inches), with exception to wearable quilts. == Future Quilter == Open to kindergarten children/ elementary school students/ junior high school students/ high school students. Categories of entries for this section are based on the above four categories. Submit your works to the future quilter category with a spirit of challenge . |
